Dalí Theatre and Museum in Figueres was rebuilt in the 1960s out of an old theatre destroyed in the Spanish Civil war. The museum which Dalí helped design not only houses his artwork, but also a collection of jewelry he designed, and his collection of other artists works. The museum also houses Dalí's crypt as Figueres was Dalí's hometown.
