Street Art in George Town
In celebration and recognition of George Town becoming an UNESCO site the city initiated a competition to brand the town. Today, 52 unique and funny iron rod sculptures are installed all across George Town. Each sculpture tells a story giving cultural background, history and facts about George Town and its residents. Complementing the sculptures are murals and street art canvasing buildings and walls along the main streets, back streets and alleyways.
