The legendary town of Portofino is so beautiful and quaint that even Disney and Universal Orlando Resort have re-created the town to scale at the theme parks. Portofino has retained its old world glamour when the likes of Liz Taylor, Richard Burton, Eddie Fisher, Rex Harrison, Ava Gardener, Greta Garbo, Truman Capote, Friedrich Nietzsche and many others would visit this town founded by the Romans annually. Around the small harbor is the Piazzetta a mix of colorful pizza and gelato shops along side high end shops like Fendi and Dior.
