Fremantle, Australia
Fremantle is a town so quaint you feel like you stepped onto a movie set. Beautiful 19th century heritage buildings line the streets with cute cafes, coffee shops, pubs, artist studios and boutiques.
The town has a few must see buildings including the Round House, the oldest remaining intact building in Western Australia, the old Fremantle prison which is now an UNESCO site, the Fremantle Market which highlights local crafts and foods of the region and the waterfront Maritime Museum.
Being a port city, Fremantle requires a stop at Bathers Beach for a swim and fish and chips.
